Geissler: “Perfect addition to our squad”

Otto most recently played for Bundesliga rivals Tigers Tübingen, where he was team captain for three years, but was relegated with the Baden-Württemberg team last season. In 28 BBL appearances, he averaged 3.4 points and 2.5 assists.

In Weißenfels, they are relying primarily on the long-distance throws of the son of water polo record national player Frank Otto. MBC managing director Martin Geissler spoke of a “perfect addition to our squad. For coach Janis Gailitis, it is of the utmost importance to have more depth in the important build-up position than in the past.”
