Tamara Abila is Fluminense’s newest volleyball player. The 25-year-old, 1.91m-tall outside hitter, who has played for Osasco and Trasporti Bressan Offanengo in Italy, spoke about her experience in Europe and declared her joy at joining Tricolor.
“I am coming back from an incredible experience in Italy. I was able to experience a new environment and a different style of play in a very strong volleyball scene. I believe it was positive for me. Now I am returning to my country to wear the jersey of an exceptional club and I will also be able to be closer to my family. I am very happy.”
The athlete, who can also play as an opposite, spoke about her desire to help the team.
“My expectations for the season are the best possible. I will give my best every day and I hope to help the team achieve our goals,” he concluded.
