In addition to the selection of Zaccharie Risacher as the 1st pick, the 2024 Draft has put Bronny James in the spotlight, chosen in 55th position by the Lakers. The two young prospects have just been the subject of a rapprochement that is creating a buzz.
Although they were members of the same draft class, they were nevertheless selected 24 hours apart. Thus, while Zaccharie Risacher was chosen in first position by the Hawks on June 26, Bronny James had to wait until the next day and the second round of the ceremony to land with the Lakers as the 55th pick. Rather different destinies, therefore, but which have just been put in parallel.
Zaccharie Risacher unfairly snubbed compared to Bronny?
Normally, the first draft picks quite logically monopolize the attention of the media and observers in the days following their arrival in the league. However, Risacher’s name resonates relatively little across the Atlantic at the moment, unlike Bronny’s. which finds itself at the heart of a heated debate.
