The countdown to the Notturna Toccolana has officially begun, the major running event that puts the town of Tocco da Casauria at the center of attention.
The good and diligent organizers of Tocco Runner, in collaboration with the municipal administration, are doing things to the letter to ensure the full success of the 14th edition in memory of Antonio Bucci and Ginevra Di Rocco.
All those who will attend Tocco da Casauria on Saturday 13 July will be able to have fun and enjoy a great event given the engaging program for all ages, the rich race pack with typical local products and the presence of an exceptional testimonial: Giorgio Calcaterra, the Stakhanovite of marathons and ultramarathons.
The festival begins at 6:00 pm with races for children and teenagers (aged 5 to 15) on a short stretch of the circuit, livening up the main square of the town (Piazza Stromei) with accompanying awards.
The main race is the 9.5 kilometre competitive race, in addition to the 4.3 kilometre non-competitive walk, with a wide circuit between the historic centre, the cemetery and the Smarrelli sports field, starting at 8:30 pm.
