the route of the seventh stage

The profile of the seventh stage of the 2024 Tour de France.

The first of the two individual time trials of the 2024 Tour de France, 25.3 kilometres long, on Friday 5 July, between Nuits-Saint-Georges (Côte-d’Or) and Gevrey-Chambertin (Côte-d’Or), is aimed at specialists in solitary effort, despite a difficulty located halfway through.

The Côte de Curley (4.3 kilometres at 3.3%), a succession of false flat climbs, will be preceded by a few tight and tricky bends, during which the riders will have to be attentive. They will then begin the downhill part of this time trial, embellished with technical sections.

During the last four kilometers, exposure to the wind will be significant. With their heads in the handlebars, the riders will not have time to enjoy the vineyards that dot this end of the stage. In a week of racing, the riders will have had time to taste the torments of the mountain and solitary effort.
