Tied to Brooklyn until 2025 (with a player option for 2026), DFS is a logical candidate at the start and the Nets would be wrong not to try to trade him to recover a pick or a young player to develop. According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHypethe Sixers would be among the potential destinations to watch for DFS. At the Wells Fargo Center, he could notably come and replace Tobias Harris at position 4 and solidify a little more a frontcourt which is already very flashy with Paul George and Joel Embiid.

The Sixers will still have to negotiate with Brooklyn and find the right counterpart. Still according to HoopsHypePaul Reed’s contract could be used in a trade.
