Former NBA champion with Tony Parker, Brazilian Tiago Splitter becomes the coach of Paris BasketBall for his first time as head coach.

Paris BasketBall has made official the name of its new coach. Tiago Splitter takes over from Tuomas Iisalo, who had terminated his contract to join the NBA, and Memphis.

At 39, the Brazilian will have his first experience as a head coach, having spent four years as assistant coach of the Brooklyn Nets. Before that, he had a career in the NBA, playing in San Antonio, Atlanta and Philadelphia. Tiago Splitter is also a champion with the Spurs and Tony Parker in 2014.
