Tijjani Noslin is making the definitive move to Lazio, the club announced on Sunday via official channels. Earlier, transfer market experts Fabrizio Romano and Gianluca Di Marzio already announced that the transfer was in the air. The attacker comes from Hellas Verona.
According to Romano and Di Marzio, Lazio will pay an amount of around fifteen million euros for the former attacker of Fortuna Sittard and TOP Oss, among others. He will come over on loan with a mandatory option to buy. Noslin is linked to the Romans until mid-2029.
The transfer fee could increase further due to two different bonuses. What exactly these bonuses entail is still unknown. Verona has also managed to negotiate a resale percentage of ten percent.
The deal is remarkable, as Noslin only made the transfer from Fortuna Sittard to Italy last winter for three million euros. In the Serie A he made such an impression in six months that Lazio would like to pay five times his previous transfer fee.
At Verona, the winger managed to score no fewer than five times in seventeen league matches. Noslin also provided four assists. He is mainly brought in after the insistence of Lazio coach Marco Baroni, who was previously at the helm of Verona.
Last week it was written in the Italian media that manager Erik ten Hag wanted to hijack the transfer of the Amsterdammer to Lazio. Manchester United reportedly had €20 million for the 24-year-old attacker.
Before his transfer to Verona, Noslin played for Fortuna Sittard, where he was under contract for two and a half years. In the Eredivisie, the winger played thirteen matches, in which he scored three times.
