The end of an era and a talent drain
The departure of Klay Thompson for the Dallas Mavericks of Luka Doncic marks a real turning point in Golden State. After the transfer of Jordan Poole last year and the departure of Chris Paul at the beginning of this offseason, the franchise is gradually losing its executives, still without a replacement. The offseason is not over, and the franchise already has several stars in its sights. But for now, the Warriors are drastically weakening.
Insufficient recruitment to remain competitive
Since the start of free agency, the team of San Francisco has recruited as many players as it has lost.
