Tour de France 2024: route and profile of today’s stage (7th) between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Gevrey-Chambertin

It is in the heart of the Burgundy vineyards, in Gevrey-Chambertin, that the 7th stage of the Tour de France will take place, an individual time trial. The first two thirds of the course will cross forests, offering relatively flat terrain and without major difficulties. However, the challenge will come in the finale with the Côte de Curtil-Vergy, a 1.6 km climb with an average gradient of 6.1%. Although this climb can slow down the riders, it should not be enough to open up significant gaps between the main favorites of this 111th edition.
