The first individual time trial of this 2024 edition of the Tour de France takes place this Friday. The riders will cover 25.3 km between Nuits-Saint-Georges and Gevrey-Chambertin. Jonas Vingegaard (Visma-Lease a Bike), Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step) and Tadej Pogacar (UAE Team Emirates), the main favourites for this 7th stage, will bring up the rear.
The Slovenian is still wearing the yellow jersey and will be the last to set off this Friday. His start will take place at 5 p.m. The Belgian Remco Evenepoel will set off two minutes earlier.
