Unfortunately, a 69-year-old man who was involved in a collision with Sebastien Ogier during the course notes has died. We already reported that last Tuesday, while recording the course, Ogier had a head-on collision with another car on a narrow stretch of road, after which he and the two passengers of the other vehicle involved were taken to the hospital for medical examinations. The Toyota Gazoo Racing WRT team confirmed that all the cars recording the track have GPS tracking equipment and that Ogier’s speed did not exceed the set limits.

After spending the night in the hospital, Ogier was released from the hospital last Wednesday.

As local Polish media reported on Monday, a 69-year-old man who was driving the second car that collided with him has died. According to the Polish news channel TVN24, authorities are investigating whether the man’s death is related to the accident. It is known that he became ill at home and died soon after.

Police representative Tomas Markovskis announced that the man was taken to the hospital for further investigation after the accident. However, he was discharged as no injuries requiring hospitalization were found. The man’s condition worsened on Saturday. Medics were called to the scene, but the man did not survive. The cause of death is said to be determined by an autopsy on Tuesday.
