Trapani Shark Roster Update: Adding Italian Talent and NBA Experience

The Trapani Shark have confirmed most of last year’s roster and signed 2 Italians: Riccardo Rossato, former captain of Scafati, and John Petrucelli, formerly of Brescia and now busy with the national team in San Juan de Puerto Rico for the Pre-Olympic.

The first American names that came out were related to starting centerconsidering the fact that Amar Alibegovic will almost certainly be the starting power forward, with Joseph Mobio and Chris Horton as backup big men.

Goal number is l’ex NBA Moses Brownundrafted in 2019 but who has wandered around several franchises, despite only being born in 1999: Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, Dallas Mavericks, Cleveland Cavaliers, Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets, before returning to Portland, with a few stints at various G-League affiliates in between.

The alternative, according to what was reported by Telesud Trapani, a TV channel owned by Valerio Antonini, is Kyle Alexander, a former Miami Heat player for a very short time and coming off a season in the EuroCup with Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Alexander is definitely more experienced than Brown but the 1999 has really great potential, even if Brown should adapt to European basketball. Let’s see if Valerio Antonini’s Trapani Shark will sign the former NBA player or not.
