Our U17 National Basketball Team, competing in Group C at the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup hosted by Turkey and held at the Istanbul Sinan Erdem Sports Hall, finished its group in second place by defeating Argentina in the last group match.
Following the match, our Sports Services General Manager Assoc. Prof. Dr. Veli Ozan Çakır also came together with the national team players after the match and congratulated the athletes for their victory and wished them success in the tournament.
Our national team will fight against Germany tomorrow to advance to the quarter-finals.
