Uniting for a Stronger Community: Judo Club du Bassin Houiller and Yoseikan budo Join Forces for 2023-24 Financial Year

Before the summer holidays, the Judo club du Bassin Houiller and the Yoseikan budo have decided to come together to mark the 2023-24 financial year.

At the initiative of Frédéric Capdecoume, coach and director of the Yoseikan budo of Decazeville, the members of this association and those of the Judo club of Bassin Houiller have planned a joint mass training session, at the dojo near the gymnasium of the Lycée la Découverte. The coaches and educators shared their respective disciplines, the youngest, who loved it, showed a lot of dynamism on the tatamis. Sandrine Comte, the president of the Judo club welcomed this approach and thanked the Yoseikan budo club for its gift which was very appreciated. These two entities are not competitors: they complement each other perfectly.

Cementing community life

The leaders looked back on their season, with the good results obtained, the internships, the training courses and the various extra-sporting events that cement the associative life throughout the season. They congratulated in particular Magali Laude for obtaining the black belt, who is none other than the vice-secretary of the JCBH.

Decazeville elected official Christian Murat and regional councillor Pascal Mazet were present, and noted the vitality of these two city associations which also bring diversity to young people in the sports offer in our territory. For this final day of the season, a snack delighted the audience, before meeting up again at the start of the school year.
