The United States particularly shone thanks to its women’s team, which won a series of gold medals in this discipline. In the men’s event, Hungary dominated, followed by Great Britain and Brazil. The Hungarian footballer Dezső Novák He is the only player to have won three Olympic medals in football.
In 2024, who will we see on the field defending the French colours? Thierry Henry has been named coach of the French Olympic team.
