Ursaria relegated to Third RFEF due to non-payments

The Spanish Footballers Association (AFE) has announced that Racing Cartagena Mar Menor, Vélez and Ursaria have not paid their players the full amount of the established payments, for which reason they will be sanctioned by the Spanish Football Federation with the administrative relegation to Third RFEF.

The first two teams had already been relegated from a sporting perspective, but the team from the Madrid municipality of Cobeña had managed to save their lives on the last day. Ursaria has announced that “the club’s management is taking the appropriate measures, exhausting all possible avenues for its continuity in the Second Federation.”

The entity’s debt is around 40.000 euros and, if they take over the club, Llenerense could take the place of the Madrid team. However, the three sanctioned clubs will have to pay their outstanding debts, under threat of a new administrative relegation to Preferente.

In addition, the AFE has reported on the clubs of Third RFEF The following clubs have also failed to pay their players: Algar, Ayamonte, Acero, Gandía, Gran Tarajal, Haro Deportivo, La Cuadra Unión-Puerto, Llosetense, El Ejido, Racing Murcia, Racing Rioja, Rapitenc, San Clemente and Torrijos. All of them will have their federation rights suspended and will not be able to process licenses until they pay.
