Dispute escalates – 32-year-old man attacks man with machete – several injured

A 32-year-old man is reported to have hit a 29-year-old man with a machete during an argument in Kaiserslautern. According to police, the 29-year-old suffered minor injuries. Then, the 29-year-old used a pepper grenade on the 32-year-old and chased him with three others, throwing glass bottles at him, causing injuries to both parties. Police later arrested him at his home and discovered the machete there.

At the same time, there was another argument – this time between the father of the 32-year-old man and the group of the 29-year-old man. During this incident, a baseball bat and a knife were used – a 22-year-old man suffered minor injuries. The police are investigating who used the weapons.

In the context of these incidents, the authorities of Rhineland-Palatinate have expressed concerns about the increasing trend towards violence in Kaiserslautern. Despite the efforts of the police to maintain peace, the use of weapons such as machetes, pepper grenades and even a baseball bat in crimes is provocative and unacceptable.
