Buddy Hield will join the Golden State Warriors in a sign-and-trade deal with the Philadelphia 76ers that guarantees him two years and $21 million, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski on Thursday.
Hield He will receive $18 million over the first two years and a partial guarantee of $3 million for 2026-27, as well as a non-guaranteed player option for the fourth year, sources said.
Sources said the Warriors to send 2031 second-round pick to 76ers as part of the agreement.
Hield averaged 12.1 points in 84 games for the Indiana Pacers and 76ers last season after Philadelphia acquired him in a trade deadline.
Hield, one of the league’s elite 3-point shooters, hit 38.9 percent of his 3-point attempts for Philadelphia during the regular season before struggling in the playoffs, outside of hitting six 3-pointers in the 76ers’ season-ending loss to the New York Knicks in Game 6 of their first-round series.
