Zhejiang University Judo Championships held, Wenzhou University students achieved excellent results

Recently, the 2019 Zhejiang University Judo Championship, hosted by the Zhejiang Wrestling and Judo Association, was held at the Judo Hall of the Jiushan Campus of Wenzhou Sports School. The competition has two groups: A (undergraduate college group, junior college group) and C (high-level team colleges and sports departments group). It adopts the latest Judo rules of the International Judo Federation and adopts a single-elimination quarter-final resurrection system.
Wenzhou University students actively faced the competition and fought hard, winning 3 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals. Coach Xue Tong was awarded the title of Outstanding Coach, and team members Yuan Jun, Gao Hui, Zhou Tao and Zhang Ziyang were awarded the title of Outstanding Athlete and the Morality Award, Best Etiquette Award and Best Technology Award respectively. The school won the Group Morality Award and Judo Promotion Award.
Good results are inseparable from the careful guidance and meticulous training of coaches, who stick to the training ground day after day, year after year, through the cold and hot seasons, to build a bridge to success for the athletes; they are also inseparable from the hard work and perseverance of the athletes themselves, who show their all-out and hard-working sports spirit on the field.
