Ulm (dpa) – Winger Robin Christen is leaving the Bundesliga basketball club ratiopharm Ulm after two years and will play in the second division for Science City Jena. The club from the Danube city announced this. The 33-year-old Christen moved from the Hamburg Towers to Ulm in 2022 and became German champions with the team last year.
“As co-captain, Robin played a major role in our championship. He will be unforgettable in Ulm,” said Ulm’s managing director Thomas Stoll. After a season with many injuries, Christen now needs “a bigger role again, which we unfortunately cannot offer him.”
