XV of France: the hinge Baptiste Serin and Antoine Hastoy renewed against Argentina

The French XV’s summer tour continues, despite the transfer of Oscar Jegou and Hugo Auradou, accused of aggravated rape by an Argentinian, to Mendoza, where they are to be heard this Friday by a prosecutor. After facing Argentina and Uruguay, with two victories to their name, the Blues will meet the Pumas this Saturday, July 13 (9 p.m. in France, live on Canal+) at the Estadio Velez Sarsfield in Buenos Aires.

And Fabien Galthié has decided to bring back the backbone of the team that beat the Argentinians on July 6 (13-28). Only two players are missing: Oscar Jegou and Hugo Auradou, currently in provisional detention in Mendoza. They are replaced by Mickaël Guillard (LOU) and Judicaël Cancoriet. Melvyn Jaminet, who made racist remarks in an Instagram story after this first match of the tour, has also been left out.

Mickaël Guillard, Lenni Nouchi, Jordan Joseph, Lester Etien, Antoine Frisch and Théo Attissogbe will therefore celebrate their second selection this Saturday, while finishers Romain Briatte, Killian Tixeront, Baptiste Jauneau and Léo Berdeu should obtain their first cap after playing against Uruguay in a match that did not count towards the number of selections.

The composition of the French XV against Argentina:

Barré – Attissogbe, Gailleton, Frisch, Etien – Hastoy (o), Serin (m, cap) – Joseph, Cancoriet, Nouchi – Pesenti, Guillard – Colombe, Barlot, Gros.

Substitutes: Baubigny, Taofifenua, Bamba, Tuilagi, Briatte, Tixeront, Jauneau, Berdeu.
