The eighth finals of the men’s tournament are currently being played beach volley at the Paris Olympics. The athlete has played 407 games in the NBA and a brief stint at Baskonia in the 2015-16 season before choosing another path. He was one of two former NBA players to compete in the Olympics in disciplines other than 5×5 basketball: the other was Jimmer Fredette, eliminated yesterday from the 3×3 basketball tournament. Fredette, however, has the mitigating factor of a serious ligament injury suffered in the second game in Paris.
