Adele stops concert to watch women’s 100m

A big fan of the Olympics, Adele was performing in Munich, Germany, on Saturday night. Because she wanted to watch the women’s 100-meter final in Paris, which was taking place at the same time, the singer paused her show and broadcast the competition live on the giant screens for her 80,000 or so spectators! She then congratulated the winner, Luciloise Julien Alfred, before resuming the concert.

All of Hollywood attends the competitions

Perhaps because it is easier to get to Paris to watch the Olympics than to Beijing, Sochi or Rio, many Hollywood stars have been spotted in the stands in recent days. Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes made a rare public appearance to watch the gymnastics events. Nicole Kidman attended the skateboarding competitions. Sharon Stone, John Travolta, Pharrell Williams and Natalie Portman have also been spotted at the Games in recent days.
