The Italian National Team Of Baseball U-15after the positive experiences in the Lodi gathering and in the first edition of the Rotterdam Baseball Week U-15, is getting closer with great strides towards the key objective of the season: the world Cup of category scheduled for Barranquilla e Cartagena de Indiasin Colombiayes Friday 16th a Sunday, August 25, 2024.
For the Italian U-15 baseball team, entrusted to Giuseppe Mazzanti, it will be the first participation in ten years, after the twelfth place in Mazatlan (Mexico) in 2014, an edition that included the participation of sixteen teams.

The Azzurrini have been included in the Group A together with the hosts of the Colombiait’s at Japan, Guam, Puerto Rico e Dominican Republic. Our national team will debut against Colombia, on the “Edgar Renteria” diamond in Barranquilla, at 2:00 Italian time on Saturday 17 August, before facing, twenty hours later, at 22:00, again on Saturday 17, Japan, ranked fourth in the 2022 edition. The Azzurrini’s World Cup will continue on Sunday 18 August at 17:30 against Guam, on Monday 19 August against Puerto Rico (at 17:30) and on Tuesday 20 August against the Dominican Republic (at 22:00) for the last match of the group.
Il group B sees the presence of China Taipei, Mexico, Nicaragua, Kingdom of the Netherlands, Sud Africa e Venezuela.
At the end of the elimination rounds, the top three teams in each round advance to the Super Round, which will determine the two finalists for gold and the two teams competing for third place. The bottom three teams from the two elimination rounds will face off to determine the reserve positions.
