Joshua Kimmich was considered a candidate for sale at FC Bayern for a long time. However, talks about a possible transfer were apparently broken off.
Munich – Joshua Kimmich has been one of the top candidates on Paris Saint-Germain’s list for some time. As the Sport BILD Now reports that the Parisians have also asked Bayern about a possible transfer of the German international. According to the report, however, FC Bayern has broken off talks because Kimmich himself does not want to move to the serial champions from France. Only recently, Kimmich had emphasized how comfortable he feels at Bayern.

Basically, Kimmich currently seems to be leaning towards signing a new contract with Bayern.
Kimmich decision probably only in the course of the season
According to information from Sport Bild Kimmich will not extend his contract before the start of the next season. He wants to wait and see what the situation is like under the new coach Vincent Kompany and could imagine making a decision later this year. Kimmich therefore wants to wait and see what role and position he will play in Kompany’s game system.

Kimmich himself recently said about his future: “In general, I feel very comfortable here. Last season was not so successful. That is not what Bayern Munich expects. It’s just that I am very hungry and full of energy when it comes to the new season.”
Bayern sporting director Max Eberl also sounded positive about a possible contract extension: “It is true that Joshua will become an important player for us in the future,” he explained.
