Become a referee and have an international career. Just as Denmark over the years has provided players who are among the world’s best, the Danish badminton referees have also always had a high level and are considered among the world’s best.
Since badminton became part of the Olympic program in 1992, there have been Danish referees at the Olympics, and each time they have helped judge the finals. It’s impressive, and thankfully it looks set to continue.
Danish badminton referees are constantly in demand at the major international tournaments such as the All England, Olympics and WC. This contributes to Badminton Denmark being able to continuously train new international referees who are skilled enough to work at the highest level. They have some amazing experiences to look forward to.
