SV Horn is strengthening its squad with Dalibor Velimirovic ahead of its duel with SV Ried (Friday, 6 p.m. in the LIVE stream). The Lower Austrians announced this on Thursday.
The 23-year-old played for First Vienna from 2022 until recently, and his contract was recently terminated. The defender has now signed a one-year contract in Horn.
Velimirovic played for Austria and Rapid in his youth. He left Hütteldorf for Vienna in 2022. Due to a cruciate ligament tear, he was out of action for a long time in 2023.
“Dalibor is a player who has experience in the second division as well as in the Bundesliga. Unfortunately, a serious injury has affected his career planning. It will take him some time to reach his peak performance. After that, he will be a permanent and important part of our team in central midfield and defense,” says Managing Director Andreas Zinkel.
