For Marc Wilmots’ former assistant at the Red Devils, “both teams played beautiful football and created many chances”. Borkelmans, however, believes that Anderlecht did not deserve their victory.
“Antwerp deserved better than this defeat. Both clubs wanted to play football, that’s what people want to see. There was a clear game plan,” the ex-Red Devil emphasizes. “The players followed the tactical plan.”
