The ’45th Citizen Sports Competition’, hosted by Gyeongnam Miryang City Sports Council (Chairman Min Kyung-gap), was held in grand style at the Gyo-dong Sports Complex on the 12th.

The opening ceremony of the competition began with the entrance of athletes from 16 towns, villages and districts, with Mayor Ahn Byeong-gu, National Assembly member Park Sang-woong, City Chairman Heo Hong, provincial and city council members and about 5,000 citizens participating.
Then, four other sports were held, including tug-of-war. △1st place overall, Chodong-myeon △2nd place Muan-myeon △Cheongdo-myeon ranked 3rd. The most participation award went to Muan-myeon, the exemplary athlete award went to Sammun-dong, and the special award went to Sangdong-myeon.
The Citizen Harmony Festival was an exciting festival with invited singers and citizens.

Miryang City Tennis Association (Chairman Kim Tae-hyung) held the 36th Association President’s Cup Tennis Tournament at the city tennis court and public tennis court on the 13th.
On this day, Mayor Ahn Byeong-gu, National Assembly member Park Sang-woong, City Chairman Heo Hong, and provincial and city council members attended the event.
About 200 tennis enthusiasts participated in this tournament, and the members were divided into gold, silver, and equal categories depending on their skills, and tennis players competed against each other to build friendships.
