10 Russian national team players were taken for doping tests after an open training session

The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA), after the training process of the Russian national team, invited ten of Valery Karpin’s wards to undergo doping control.

As Soviet Sport correspondent Nikita Plokhikh reports, the list included ten players of the Russian national team, including midfielders Alexander Golovin, Dmitry Barinov and defender Igor Diveev.

Since February 2022, Russian clubs and national teams have been suspended from participation in international competitions under the auspices of FIFA and UEFA.
