Saint Dominic.- A 16-year-old boy who went out with his brother to celebrate his 15th birthday was killed in a shooting that took place in the Los Guandules sector, in the National District.
In addition to the death of Jordany Antonio Heredia Jiménez, 16 years old, an employee of the commercial establishment was seriously injured in the shooting.
Heartbroken Paniela Jiménez, mother of the victim, regretted giving permission to her minor children to go out to celebrate her youngest son’s 15th birthday on Monday night, in Los Guandules.
He indicated that, from a very young age, Jordany Antonio has always studied and worked in the family water company and never had enemies.
In the attack that occurred near the Los Guandules police station, an employee of the establishment was also shot in the chest and seriously injured.
Witnesses to the confrontation said that they lived a moment of terror, since they heard dozens of shots and even came to realize that due to the number of people who were sharing there were more deaths.
The police indicated that they have opened an investigation to determine if it is true that the weapon used in the crime is the property of a member of the institution.
The remains of the minor will be laid to rest at his home in Gualey.
