Egor Taradin, head of the adult grassroots football department:
– Last year, the RFU also, in parallel with the men’s FONBET Russian 8×8 Championship, held the RFU Cup in the 7×7 format for women, in which 13 teams from 9 regions played. This year the women’s tournament received the official status of the Russian Championship. Thus, it has become even more prestigious for the participants. We, as organizers, feel great responsibility and are looking forward to an exciting struggle. It is very interesting to know the name of the first national mini-football champion among women’s teams. I wish everyone good luck!
All games will be broadcast live on the Russian Grassroots Football community on VKontakte. There you can also find all the information about the tournament, calendar, schedule, photo and video content from the matches.
