On Friday the 18th, the event began with the delivery of kits to the participants, followed by the Introduction to Archery conference. AND
On Saturday, the novice field and fantasy shooting phases were held, where competitors demonstrated their skill and ability.
It was on Sunday when the most intense emotions were experienced with the final stage of the competition, culminating with the presentation of prizes and special recognitions.
One of the most notable moments was the delivery of the “Alejandro Avitia” merit recognition to goalkeeper Héctor Ponce, for his outstanding participation.
In the traditional women’s category, Iris Vázquez took first place, followed by Liliana Mancinas in second place and Nancy Vicencio in third place. While in the traditional men’s branch, Hiram Casas was crowned in first place, followed by Israel Hernández in second place and Luis Montoya in third place.
In the veteran men’s category, Abie Duran took first place, followed by Enrique Cañedo in second place and Fernando González in third place. In the women’s pulley category, first place went to Rocío Valdez, followed by Lucía Casas in second place and Ofelia Cárdenas in third place.
In the Open Men’s category, Jaime Porfirio took first place, followed by Jorge Silvia in second place and Ricardo García in third place. In the BHI men’s category, Ángel Morales was crowned first, followed by Manuel Ochoa in second place and Luis Robles in third place. Additionally, the Apache challenge was won by Hiram Casas, demonstrating his great skill in archery.
Archery Fest 2024 was an event full of excitement and competition, where archers showed their talent and dedication in each of the modalities, making it clear why archery is such an exciting sport.
