2nd All Kansai University Women’s Basketball Newcomer Tournament Match Results

The 2nd All Kansai University Women’s Basketball Newcomer Tournament began on Sunday, May 12th.
In the first game, our women’s basketball team played against Momoyama Gakuin University of Education, and unfortunately lost 70-74.
We all got off to a good start and were in the lead in the first half. However, in the second half, they were unable to stop the opponent’s 3-point shot and the match was reversed. We extended our lead to 11 points, but with our tenacious defense, we were able to narrow the gap to 4 points in the end.
Although we ended up losing, the first and second year students were able to gain something good from this match, not only in terms of their play, but also in terms of their feelings. And most importantly, I think it was because of the big cheers from the 3rd and 4th year students that we were able to fight with all our might without giving up until the very end.
