Munich (dpa / lby) – The Munich “Lions” missed a home win in the 3rd football league. Against bottom team VfL Osnabrück they only managed a 2-2 (1-1) draw on matchday 11. Patrick Hobsch (41st) and Maximilian Wolfram (76th) scored the goals for the hosts in the Grünwalder Stadium. Joël Zwarts (43′) and Ba-Muaka Simakala (79’/foul penalty) scored for the guests.
Once again, TSV 1860 hardly improved their poor home record. Until the duel with Lower Saxony, there had only been one win out of four defeats at home.
Before the game, coach Argirios Giannakis said his goal was to send the fans home “with a smile.” That didn’t really work. The “Lions” took the lead twice. But the Osnabrück team responded twice immediately afterwards.
After the 2-2 draw at SpVgg Unterhaching on Sunday evening, the Lions have been unbeaten in four away games, winning three of them. It continues on Sunday with promotion candidate Energie Cottbus.
