50 archers competing in Cosne

The First Cosnoise archery company organized, yesterday, at the Cassin gymnasium, its official competition at 18 m, selective for the French distance championship, first event of the new season.

Unpleasant surprise for the organizing club. It found itself, for the first time, in competition with a similar event in Auxerre.

However, the three Nivernais clubs (La Charité, Nevers and Cosne) were represented, satisfied to meet again after a start to the school year during which they received new arrivals, a consequence of the Olympics. With around fifty participants, the Cosnois club was relatively satisfied.

Under the gaze of the three referees, Jean-Claude Daguès (La Charité), Thomas Bonnet (Nevers) and Damien Cabrera (Cosne), archers and archers decided on the best total of the two series of ten ends of three arrows.

The scores will be transmitted to the federation to appear in each person’s ranking, in order to determine participation in France.
