Sometimes we live up to our name. Oriane Champion knows what she wants: to be Olympic judo champion one day.
Born in Sens on July 13, 2007, she practiced her discipline from the age of 3 at the Villeneuve-sur-Yonne club and rose through the ranks. She is now a 1st dan black belt. His desire made him join the Montpezat college in Sens, then he left the family cocoon for the hope center of Dijon.

This year, following her very good results, she was accepted at the France center in Châtenay-Malabry (Hauts-de-Seine). But this structure of excellence comes at a cost: €7,069 per year. Without the possibility of subsidies, the family is looking for sponsors, ready to help young talents.
premium The redevelopment of the Sens promenades begins on Monday November 4
It was then that the association Friends of Father Poupon, the man of the Church who spent his life helping young people, became interested in the journey of the young judoka. His motivation and his academic results (very good grades in the college certificate) and sports results (several medals and selections for the French cadet team) end up convincing the members of the Senonese association. So, they gave him a check for €1,000, Monday morning, in the Marie-Louise room at 148, rue des Déportés-et-de-la-Résistance in Sens.
A nice boost for the start of his career and perhaps a step towards the Olympic Grail.
