a great national success for the Autize Archers at home

The Archers de l’Autize company welcomed, for the first time in its history, 64 teams (around 500 people) selected for the French 3D championship by club team and mixed doubles from September 28 to 29. Having the honor of hosting the French championship at home is a great reward for the women’s team. Everyone was mobilized between the clubs, the region, the department, the town hall and the sponsors.

An event where artisans and partners responded with the creation of a market on Place du Chaillot to promote local products. All in all, a participation of €5,000 in gifts for the raffle.

A local success

Saturday September 28, the Ardin women’s team put its title of French champion in the 2023 discipline back into play. It was Draveil Sénart who became champion ahead of Toulouse TAC. Ardin, for his part, is a bronze medalist with Estelle Vallé, Juliette Tisserond, Séverine Marcadet and captain Loïse Chaigne. In the men’s team event, Toulouse TAC was crowned ahead of Saint-Sauvent and Plourin-lès-Morlaix.

Sunday September 29, in the wind and rain, the final of the mixed team doubles was on the menu. Viroflay won the hunting archery title ahead of, in order, Leguevin and Verne/Sèch. In bare arch, the title goes to Draveil Sénart and to Mérignac in free arch.

For the locals, satisfaction came from the right bow with a title for the Archers de l’Autize thanks to the team composed of Estelle Valle, who had already collected bronze on Saturday September 28, and Danielle Lacroix, with Juliette Tisserond and Bastien Séris as captains. Robion and Saint-Sauvant complete the podium. “It was two days where everyone participated in this party and its success. I thank the volunteers, the referees, the elected officials and especially Jean-Michel Cleroy (president of the French archery federation) for his participation and his listening. A success crowned by the gold medal for Estelle and Daniel in the straight arch and the bronze medal for the women. evokes Christophe Tisserond, captain of the Archers de l’Autize.
