It literally starts with a bang Baseball World Series 2024the last act of the MLB which sees the two most important teams in the league clash again after more than forty years, namely the New York Yankees e i Los Angeles Dodgers. In the inaugural match of the final series, the Los Angeles team prevailed, managing to prevail within the friendly walls 6-3 in a dispute that was only resolved in the bottom of the tenth inning.
A match that began with the handbrake on. For in fact, waiting for the first point only had to wait for the fifth roundthanks to a sacrifice by Smith that puts the Dodgers ahead 1-0. But in the following inning the east coast team reverses the situation by exploiting a home run by Giancarlo Stanton which brings the score to 1-2.
But Los Angeles doesn’t fit and, in the eighth, he manages to restore the situation by equalizing the score with another sacrifice, this time by Beets. The atmosphere becomes very hot and, having reached the last act, New York tries to escape with a force out from a seal by Anthony Volpe who, however, it will be the prelude to a true masterpiece signed by Freddie Freeman, author of a sensational historical achievement walk-off grand slam which brings four points and drives the audience crazy.
The Dodgers then go 3-6, ahead of a game 2 that promises to be exciting. The dispute is scheduled to begin at 2.08am on Sunday 27 October.
