Varennes-Vauzelles. Arrival of Félix Géraci, new teacher at the ASAV Judo club. Asav judo has restarted its sports season with a new team of teachers.
Félix Geraci, holder of a State Diploma, joins the teaching team as head of the competition department. He will be in charge of the youngest, juniors, cadets, juniors and seniors during training and championships.
Thibault Jolivel, holder of a BPJEPS, is responsible for the animation sector on pre-chicks, chicks and judo awakening. Nika Khatoyan, holder of a CQP, supervises competitor training in addition to Félix.
Denis Perreau will ensure the handover by helping his colleagues as needed. A great management team completed by Thierry Lefebvre, who works on parajudo, and Daniel Nevers, who officiates in Chaulgnes and Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier.
Return to his original club
Félix Céraci explains: “I started judo at the age of 8 at ASAV judo, with Denis Perreau, and I remained licensed there for twenty-five years until my departure to the south. I passed second dan at ASAV. I am currently a fourth dan and holder of the DEJEPS. I started teaching in 2002, at the Morvan Judo Club in Château-Chinon, then, subsequently, in Saint-Pierre-le-Moûtier, Dornes, La Charité-sur-Loire and Decize. In 2010, I left for the south of France, in Occitanie, where I taught for six years in Vergèze, Agde, Servian and Florensac. Then, in 2016, return to Nièvre with the clubs of Cosne-sur-Loire, Saint-Amand-en-Puisaye, Fourchambault and, since September 2024, it is with great satisfaction that I found the club of ‘ASAV which was my starting point, while continuing at the Cosne-sur-Loire club.

Judo awakening : Wednesday, 4 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.; Thursday, 5:40 p.m. to 6:25 p.m. and Saturday, 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Benjamins, juniors: Wednesday, 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, 5:45 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Cadets, juniors, seniors: Tuesday, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Wednesday, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Friday, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
