The general meeting of the Saint-Aignan judo club was held on Friday October 18 in the judo room, in the presence of around ten people and Marie Debien-Lemasson and Florian Agostino from Groupama. President Sylvie Alibrand presented the 2023-2024 moral assessment which went well, mainly thanks to the increase in licensees (44), due to the closure of the Valençay club.
For the 2024-2025 school year, there are already 60 graduates. Classes are on Tuesdays and Fridays for children and teenagers, taught by Gilles Vivier (for 35 years) and Anne-Marie Gillot (for 8 years). As for the Friday class for adults, it’s Didier Yvonneau (black belt, 4e dan) who intervenes.
The president, after 42 years of service to the club, announces her departure as well as that of secretary Johann Virmoux. After long discussions over the last few weeks, Sylvie Alibrand is happy to be able to count on the volunteer members of the new office to continue to keep the club going: president, Gérald Rousseau; treasurer, Stéphanie Boulet; vice-president, Sophie Nuri; secretaries Julie Masrouki.
The financial report balances out at €4,564.47 in expenses (licenses, insurance, travel costs, reception costs and unfortunately this year, funeral costs) as well as income (memberships). The meeting ended with Groupama making a presentation on the risks of accidents and why it is necessary to take out proper insurance.
