Like every year, the Plateau de Montbazens Social Center initiated the Sports and Family Festival. This intercommunal and intergenerational event took place on Saturday September 7 in Privezac. To prepare for such an event, we had to bring together people and get our hands dirty: 5 associations from the town (Parents’ Association, Club des 3 Vallées, Etoile sportif des Rives, Privezac en Fête, Ségal’air ) co-organized the day with the CSPM and were involved in all the preparation, logistics, animation, assessment, etc. 7 local sports associations and many volunteers also mobilized for the animation; hiking and mountain biking, aikido, airsoft, country, judo, fishing, pony riding, qi-gong, sophrology and archery… There was something for everyone! Without forgetting the associations who came to present their activities as part of the forum (gym, plastic arts, etc.) and the firefighters who made the eyes of young and old alike shine as part of their demonstration.
The opportunity for associations, at the start of the school year, to attract a new audience, to show the multitude of disciplines that can be practiced just a stone’s throw from home. A perfect opportunity for residents of the Plateau and surrounding areas, who are not yet registered with a club, to take the plunge! Initially planned around the lake, given the uncertainty of the weather, the event was finally held at the Privezac village hall and brought together many families who came to enjoy the activities as well as the refreshments and treats offered throughout. afternoon and evening. The support of the Privezac town hall and the Fédération du Sport en Milieu Rural contributed to the success of the day!
