After Leading the China Vs Indonesia Match, Omar Al Ali Flooded with Praise from Indonesian Netizens-Instagram @omaralali2000-Radarandramayu.id
RADARINDRAMAYU.ID- Omar Al Ali, a referee from the United Arab Emirates appointed the match leader for the China vs Indonesia match at the Qingdao Stadium on Tuesday (15/10/2024).
Previously, Indonesian national team fans were worried because the head referee came from the Middle East. Remembering previously, the Garuda squad felt disadvantaged by the referee from Oman during the match against Bahrain.
So Indonesia had to be willing to get a draw with Bahrain because of the injury time given by the referee to the opponent. Referee Ahmed Al Kaf also looked biased from the start of the match. No wonder this controversial referee was attacked by Indonesian netizens after the match.
Likewise with Omar Al Ali, the leader of the China vs Indonesia referee, he actually received praise from Indonesian netizens. Even though Indonesia must beat China, it respects the referee who is trustworthy and does not take sides with his neighbors.
