The 26-year-old Grigal spent the previous seven seasons in North America, the last year and a half with the American Hockey League (AHL) Milwaukee Admirals.
He played only one match in the AHL and mostly played in the Atlanta “Gladiators” of the ECHL league. He averaged 3.4 innings and shot 90% in 34 games last season in North America’s third power league.
