Andre Drummond chooses team for his retirement

«I still call Detroit my home today. I still have a home in Detroit, simply because of the connection I have to the city. I feel like I became a man in that city… I grew up a lot there. I met some of my best friends and built a relationship with the Detroit fan base and community. I’ve always said it, I want to finish my career there. The year I’m going to retire, I want to end up in Detroit. That’s where I started and where I want to end,” he says.

Drummond is the second all-time rebounder in Pistons history, behind only Bill Laimbeer. He also ranks third in blocked shots on the franchise rankings. Yes, perhaps he did not shine because of the collective victories, but his contribution is beyond any doubt.
