According to consistent media reports, the Titans have agreed to another trade: Jones is going to the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for fellow linebacker Jerome Baker and a fourth-round pick. This is Jones’ second change this season. It was only in August that the Titans acquired him from the Los Angeles Rams by sending a 2026 fifth-round pick to LA.
Ernest Jones IV changes again
The 24-year-old Jones won the championship in his rookie year with the Rams in 2022; in the final against the Cincinnati Bengals, he contributed seven tackles and one sack to the title coup.
This season, the 24-year-old has already made 44 tackles, making him the second-best tackler for the Titans, who are at the bottom of the AFC South with a 1-5 record. At Tennessee, Jones quickly established himself as a starter alongside Kenneth Murray Jr. and took a leadership role, playing 91.2% of the defensive snaps. Jerome Baker recorded 37 tackles and one sack in his first season with the Seahawks.
