Famous Spanish tennis player Paula Badosa was embroiled in controversy over racism after tearing his eyes.
This photo was taken at a restaurant while she was visiting Beijing, China to participate in the Women’s Professional Tennis (WTA) Tour China Open.
The problem grew when her coach posted this photo on his social media.
When the controversy arose, Badosa initially explained, “I was not imitating Asians, but playing with my face and wrinkles.”
However, when the controversy did not subside, he said, “I did not know that my actions could cause the discomfort of racial discrimination. I’m really sorry. “It was my mistake,” he apologized.
Meanwhile, Badosa withdrew from the competition held in Wuhan, China on the 7th due to gastroenteritis.
