The coach explained well what led him to her. All the reasons given by him are understandable and the entire implementation team has done a good job again. As in the last season, their approach seems to me to be at a very professional level.
I can’t help but stop at two nominated names, which may seem strange to some.
The first is Jáchym Kondelík. Last season he experienced something that few people are lucky enough to do. He returned from the NCAA and AHL to the Czech Republic, he had a great year in Motor, which he was the driving force of. In addition, the signing of a new contract and, on top of that, the title of world champion. This is something that even a lot of seasoned representatives can only dream about. He did it at the age of 24.
I think it would shake things up a bit with each player and he would have a very difficult next season. Jáchym Kondelík also has it. It is all the more valuable that Radim Rulík has not forgotten him. It can help Kondelík to get going.
The second player that sticks in my mind is Ondřej Kacetl. In the last four years, that boy has always won the extra league title for Třínec, but no one took him to the national team anyway. Radim Rulík did it now, when Kacetl is thirty-four.
And it doesn’t matter now if he won’t get another opportunity or if he will continue in other tournaments. The point is that Rulík praised him for his performances. And that the boy will simply have a photo in the national jersey and at least a few starts for the national team.
It is something wonderful. I am proud of Radim Rulík and his colleagues for giving Kacetl that chance. The memory of the birthday boy will stay with him for the rest of his life, just like the titles with the Steelers.
