Archery: the results of Asti archers at the Italian Targa championships

The Italian Targa championships took place in Camaiore from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th September. There were 5 archers from Asti present and as usual they did not return empty-handed.

The lion’s share goes to Marengo Roberto who wins the Italian team title with the Arcieri delle Alpi. In fact, together with their teammates Giorgio Botto and Claudio Rovera in the Master Olympic division they defeated the competition and won the title of Italian champions with 1758 points
Simone Dezani also won a silver medal for the Arcieri delle Alpi in the junior Mixed Team together with his teammate Ceriana Clelia. Simone ranked 15th in the individual competition with 591 points.

Giada Marengo, again for the Arcieri delle Alpi in the girls Olympic division, ranks 10th with 638 points. Leonardo Arossa for the Clarascum Archers in the boys Olympics obtains an 11th place with the remarkable score of 650 points. Gaia Bogliacini ranks 9th in the Arco Nudo student division with 456 points.

Last week the Italian Country Shooting Championship took place in Scilpario (BG) in which Simone Dezani and Roberto Marengo took part.
Roberto Marengo placed 5th in the individual competition with 312 points. Simone Dezani ranked 4th in the individual competition with 322 points, but in the team competition for the overall ranking he won a splendid silver medal together with his teammates Vieceli Mattia and Seimandi Giuseppe.

Now Simone only has time to change uniform and wear that of the Italian national team because in 7 days he will participate with the Italian national team in the World Field Shooting Championships at Lac Le Biche in Cadana.
